Flat or wavy WATER?
No ocean waves, only small wind waves and they only appear on the center of the lagoon although they are very small in the low tide, on the high tide when the wind is 30 knot the waves in the center of the lagoon can be 0,5 m, and this can be fun for pro riders they can be use the waves as kickers to jump high, or to practice the surfboard.

The normal wind is always coming from the NORTH-EAST and that’s the best wind in Dakhla, Morocco. It is good and stable. It blows 8 month a year, from March until October, almost side-shore for both sides of the lagoon. (side-shore is when the wind is parallel to the shore and it’s perfect for kitesurfing lessons) that is the best wind to learn kitesurfing for beginners, to progress for intermediate and to enjoy kiting for pro riders.Â
some gusts can appear when the wind is not perfectly coming from the north-east.
